These funds will be used by the AfrECC Foundation to support the activities of AfrECC.  Your support directly strengthens clinical care, training, research, and advocacy efforts aimed to reduce the burden of esophageal cancer in Africa’s highest-risk regions.

Donations to the AfrECC Foundation help, for example:

  • Restore swallowing and dignity to patients through stent access
  • Train the next generation of African endoscopists
  • Support early detection research
  • Expand patient and provider education
  • Support research into the causes of esophageal cancer in Africa

The AfrECC Foundation (EIN: 99-1472828) is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible in the United States to the full extent of the law. Donors will automatically receive an email receipt for their records.

For AfrECC

Expanding access to reliable endoscopy equipment and ensuring timely maintenance to ensure life-saving diagnostic, curative and palliative care.
Providing financial assistance for clinicians and researchers to attend AfrECC training programs,workshops, and scientific meetings to strengthen regional expertise and collaboration.
Supporting regional data collection, field research, and cross-institutional analytical collaboration to advance evidence-based prevention and treatment strategies.
Developing educational initiatives for patients, healthcare workers, donors, and ministries of health to promote primary prevention, early diagnosis, strengthen referral pathways, and inform policy development.
